A man and woman face a combined 92 drug and weapon related charges following a search warrant at a Meadowgreen area home Thursday.
The Saskatoon Police Guns and Gangs Unit saw activity consistent with drug trafficking and executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Avenue X South, according to a police release.
Police arrested two people inside the residence, both were released without charges.
A man and woman seen leaving the property were arrested nearby.
During the search of the property and the people arrested police seized:
- A conducted energy weapon
- A SKS assault rifle
- 141 rounds of ammunition
- Two imitation firearms
- Brass knuckles
- Four machetes
- A throwing star
- 18 hydromorphone pills
- 7.22 grams of fentanyl packaged for distribution
- 45.04 grams of methamphetamine
- 1.25 grams of cocaine packaged for distribution
- Six digital scales
- Nine cell phones
- Three tablets
- Two stolen bicycles
- 29 stolen identity documents
- $390 cash
Police charged a 44-year-old man and 35-year-old woman in connection.
