Flair Airlines plans to resume flights from Saskatchewan in the spring.
Starting May 2, the low-cost carrier will depart from Regina to Toronto and Vancouver every Thursday and Sunday.
On May 3, the airline will offer flights from Saskatoon to Toronto and Vancouver every Monday and Friday.
In a news release, Flair says it expects tourism and travel to ramp up in the spring and summer.
“Providing affordable air travel within Canada is the first step in restarting travel and tourism, and Flair is uniquely positioned with the efficiencies of our low-cost model,” said a statement from CEO Stephen Jones.
“We are confident, as travel returns, there is a strong market for low fare travel choices from a socially responsible Canadian airline.”
In December, Flair announced it would pause operations in all areas save for major cities for the first two months of the year due to the pandemic’s impact on air travel.
