Regina police have fined a woman $2,800 for disobeying public health orders.
On Thursday evening, police heard a complaint about an “unwanted guest” at a home near Elphinstone Street and Second Avenue.
“Police were able to confirm that the resident had been having several different guests come and go, contrary to the Public Health Order limiting private gatherings of more than those who ordinarily reside there,” says a news release from police.
This was the 20th ticket related to public health orders Regina police have issued since the start of the pandemic.
