Campaign contributions and expenses for the 2020 municipal election have been disclosed in a report for council.
Under the city’s bylaw, candidates had to submit their disclosure forms by Feb. 8.
Mayoral candidates were allowed to spend up to $68,776 on their campaigns. Those running for council could spend up to $11,393.
The bylaw only requires the disclosure of donors who contribute more than $500 for a mayoral campaign and those who give more than $200 to a council candidate.

Mayor Sandra Masters’ campaign had the highest dollar figure for expenses, at $68,289.56 with contributions covering most of it.
Kevin Knight Management Ltd. made the largest contribution, at $10,000, followed by Bruce Axelson at $8,000 and Haztech Energy Corp. with $2,000.
Masters’ campaign received six contributions of at least $1,000 and nine contributions of $500 or more.
The bill for former mayor Michael Fougere’s campaign totalled $64,047.
His top donors included Dr. Ayman Aboguddah ($5,000), Tandoori Kabab Restaurant ($3,200), Dr. Renatta Varma ($2,500), AGT Foods executive Murad Al-Katib ($2,500) and Nick John and Eugene Mamais Restaurants ($2,500).

Council candidates
Of those elected to council, Ward 10’s Landon Mohl was the top spender at $11,259.46.
His campaign received contributions from trade unions like UA Local 179 and IBEW Local 2038, as well as labour groups like the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour and the Regina District Labour Council.
Two councillors did not report contributions at all: Jason Mancinelli, who spent $8,788.30, and Lori Bresciani, who did not incur any expenses because she was acclaimed to council.
