The Punnichy RCMP says a man wanted in connection with a serious assault on Monday may be in Regina.
The RCMP said officers received a report of an altercation in a home on the Muskowekwan First Nation on Monday morning.
Lindsay Charles Hunter left the home after allegedly assaulting a woman, whom police said suffered serious injuries. She was able to call police after the incident.
Hunter, 38, has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He’s described as 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds with a slim build, short black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his right cheek.
Police say he may be in Regina or on the Muskowekwan First Nation, but that hasn’t been confirmed. He should not be approached.
Anyone who sees Hunter should call police by phoning 911 in emergencies or 310-RCMP, or by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
