On Wednesday, the Regina Catholic School Division released its calendar for the 2021-22 school year.
As it’s currently set, it looks like a normal school year without a more-segmented schedule as has been the norm in high schools this year.
Twylla West with the division said it’s planning and hoping for a normal year, but a calendar split into four semesters has also been prepared in case the division needs to switch to that.
This is around the time the next year’s calendar is normally released.
West said division officials don’t know what the next year might bring, but the division has learned the value of flexibility this past year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regina Public Schools is still in the process of planning its calendar for next year.
