The City of Regina is keeping the doors closed at community and recreation centres for longer than originally planned.
In a release Thursday, the city said it was extending the closures until April 12 “in support of recently extended provincial public health orders to mitigate further community spread of COVID-19.”
On March 25, the city said the facilities would be closed until April 5.
The facilities that closed include:
All programs and swimming lessons at city facilities were cancelled starting Sunday. Customers’ accounts were automatically credited for future use or refunds. As well, leisure passes were suspended.
