Two men are facing charges after the Regina Police Service’s drug unit seized fentanyl, cocaine and numerous weapons during a bust Wednesday.
According to police, officers from the drug unit, property crimes section and SWAT team executed search warrants on a vehicle and a hotel room in the city’s east end.
Officers seized about 70 grams of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, cash, a loaded .22-calibre handgun, a 20-gauge shotgun, bladed weapons and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Regina, were arrested. They face 23 charges between them, including possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and numerous weapons charges.
