The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Regina’s Evraz Place is set to lower its age of eligibility again Thursday.
According to a post on the Saskatchewan Health Authority website, the clinic will be open to people between the ages of 47 and 54. The minimum age was 48 on Wednesday.
The clinic is to be open from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and is operating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Like all of the drive-through and walk-in COVID immunization clinics in the province, the Evraz Place site will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.
The other drive-through sites in the province will be taking patients between the ages of 52 and 54.
The clinic in Saskatoon is to be open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., at Prairieland Park.
Drive-through clinics also are to operate Thursday in Lloydminster (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the Exhibition Grounds at 5521 49th Ave.), North Battleford (9:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., 391 Yellowhead Alley), Prince Albert (9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thorpe’s Industry, 1 Pine St., Highway 2 North) and Swift Current (9 a.m. to 8 p.m., 801 Cheadle St. W).
Walk-in clinics for people aged 52 to 54 are to be open Thursday in Moose Jaw (8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 250 Thatcher Ave.) and Yorkton (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., St. Mary’s Cultural Centre, 240 Wellington Ave.).
Meanwhile, the eligibility for booking a vaccination appointment is to remain unchanged Thursday.
People aged 52 and over can book online or by calling 1-833-727-5829 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Those 40 and over living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining Phase 1 health-care workers, and people with underlying health conditions who are considered clinically extremely vulnerable can book by phone.
