The snowstorm that hit areas of Saskatchewan on Monday and Tuesday was having less of an impact on some of the province’s highways Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Highway Hotline, travel wasn’t recommended on only one highway — Highway 47 from the Trans-Canada Highway north to Highway 247.
All other travel-not-recommended advisories had been lifted, including on the Trans-Canada east of Regina.
According to the RCMP, officers from the Indian Head detachment responded to two calls overnight involving a semi that was jackknifed on the highway and a second semi that had hit the ditch. There weren’t any serious injuries reported.
