The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The City of Regina is extending its closure of community and recreation facilities.
The city announced Friday arenas, leisures centres and community centres would stay closed through May 10 “in support of the provincial public health orders to mitigate further community spread of COVID-19.”
The buildings initially were closed March 28 and their scheduled reopening dates have been moved back ever since.
Customers who are missing classes due to the closures are to be contacted by the city next week.
The city is opening outdoor facilities such as golf courses, tennis courts and pickleball courts as the weather permits.
