Rush turned an 8-3 fourth quarter deficit into a 9-8 victory in its home opener.
An eight year old boy chasing a ball into the street suffered serious injuries Friday.
The boy was hit by a vehicle at 5:33 p.m. on the 5900 block of Dalgliesh Drive, according to Regina police.
He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
No charges were laid by late Friday night as the investigation continued.
The incident prompted a tweet from Const. Jim Monaghan with Regina Police Traffic Unit asking parents to remind children to look both ways before going into the street.
Parents please remind your kids about pausing and looking both ways…real heart breaker tonight on Dalgliesh 😩😩@reginapolice
