8:30 – On Friday, Premier Scott Moe joined Gormley and said it’s time to start thinking about a “finish line” for COVID-19. Microbiologist and infectious disease expert Dr. Jason Kindrachuk joins Gormley today to discuss how the rising vaccination rate affects COVID transmission, why those who have received a shot still need to take precautions, and what the vaccination rate needs to look like before we can consider doing away with public health measures.

10:45 – There are more than 4,000 charities active around Saskatchewan, and we’re embarking on a project to feature some of the great people doing great work in this province during a segment we like to call “The Best of Saskatchewan.” In this week’s feature, we’re catching up with Laurie O’Connor, executive director of the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre. The Saskatoon Food Bank began as a temporary project in 1983, and by 1984 it was incorporated as a non-profit charity. While their primary mission is food security, the Food Bank also operates various learning, self-help and life skills programs and a 1.5-acre urban farm.
LIVE: Laurie O’Connor, exec. Director of the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.
11:00 – Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver are all considering allowing adults to drink in public settings like parks and beaches, and many parts of B.C. have already made the move to relax the rules around public drinking. With the weather getting warmer and indoor private gatherings still prohibited province-wide, we want to know if you’d support a similar move in Saskatchewan. Call 1-877-332-8255 and let us know! Should the province allow drinking in parks?
