HURRICANE, Utah — Canadian golfer Maude-Aimee Leblanc tied for second at the Symetra Tour’s Copper Rock Championship on Saturday.
Leblanc, from Sherbrooke, Que., shot a 3-under 69 in the third round to finish at 7 under for the tournament.
The Canadian tied with American Samantha Wagner, three strokes behind winner Bailey Tardy of the U.S.
It was the second top-five finish in four events this year on the LPGA Tour feeder circuit for Leblanc, who also tied for second at the IOA Championship last month in Beaumont, Calif.
Leblanc entered this week seventh in the Race for the Card standings.
The top 10 at season’s end earn LPGA cards for next year.
