10:00 – Saskatchewan has signed an agreement with North Dakota which will see roughly 2,000 Saskatchewan truckers and essential workers vaccinated south of the border, as their employment requires cross-border travel. Susan Ewart, who heads the Saskatchewan Trucking Association, says the move will help ensure the safety and protection of essential workers and she joins Gormley to tell us more.

12:00 – Canada’s largest helium production facility opened Tuesday near Battle Creek, Saskatchewan. The $32-million facility is expected to produce more than 50M cubic feet of purified helium, which equates to about 400,000 party balloons each day. The facility is expected to create and support local jobs, while providing the element essential for medical research, semiconductor manufacturing, fibre optics, space exploration, nuclear power, and more. The plant is operated by North American Helium, and NAA President Marlon McDougall joins Gormley to tell us more.
