A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Dr. George Ferguson School in Regina’s east end.
Regina Public Schools said Monday the school will stay open, but those students who were close contacts of the individual who tested positive are to begin learning remotely.
Later Monday, the school division said there were three cases of COVID identified at Kitchener Community School.
That school also will remain open, with some students moving to online learning.
Students at Regina’s schools are in their second full week back in class after more than a month of online instruction.
Meanwhile, the Prairie Valley School Division reported a person at Montmartre School had tested positive for COVID.
Close contacts are to isolate for 14 days and are to return to school on May 21.
