The Saskatchewan RCMP reported Monday morning officers had located Stephanie Bruch and Kelly Baht near Bankend.
In a media release, the Mounties said officers from the Wynyard, Wadena and Punnichy detachments found the pair “safe and sound walking on Highway 35.”
Bankend is about 155 kilometres northeast of Regina.
The RCMP had issued a release Sunday evening saying they were concerned for Bruch’s safety after the 30-year-old Regina woman sent what they called “a concerning message” to a friend on Facebook.
Police were worried she may have been abducted and sent out descriptions of Bruch, Baht and a vehicle he was believed to be driving.
On Monday, the Mounties didn’t provide any more details about the incident, but did say their investigation was continuing.
