A Regina lawyer is facing a charge of obstructing justice.
According to the Regina Police Service, Sharon R. Fox was charged after an investigation into what police called “an allegation of an improper disclosure of information, affecting an ongoing police investigation.”
Police allege the incident occurred in Regina on Oct. 21, 2019. They note the case which allegedly was affected hasn’t made it completely through the court system, so no other details about the case were made available.
In a media release, police said Fox, 37, was charged for attempting “to obstruct, pervert or defeat the course of justice.” She’s to appear in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 22.
