As warm weather fast approaches, the City of Regina announced it was opening spray pads Friday.
Work crews made their way to each of the 15 spray pads to get the hoses running.
People are reminded to respect COVID-19 public health guidelines when using the spray pads and other outdoor recreation facilities.
Guidelines include staying home if sick, maintaining social distancing with those not in your household, and returning at a later time if the spray pad is crowded.
The city says spray pads will not be sanitized. To keep things safe, it recommended people bring hand sanitizer to clean their hands before and after play.
Spray pads are to be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily until the cooler weather rolls in come the middle of September.
