A Regina cop car crashed into another vehicle, causing a pileup and traffic delays at a major intersection Friday.
In a news release, police said an officer was driving south through the intersection of Broad Street and Dewdney Avenue at about 4 p.m.
That officer hit another vehicle which “caused a chain reaction and two other road vehicles were also involved.”
The south-bound lane through the intersection was closed “for a significant period of time.”
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
No charges have been laid, but police said they are still investigating.
Police have not yet responded to a request from 980 CJME asking whether the officer was at fault in the crash.
