The Regina Police Service has handed out two more tickets to people for violating the public health orders related to COVID-19.
In a media release Tuesday, police said officers went to a house in the 1700 block of Quebec Street and found several people who don’t live at the address.
The resident of the house was given a ticket for holding a get-together that was attended by people who aren’t part of the immediate household.
On Friday, officers were sent to the 3200 block of Green Bank Road for a complaint of a noisy gathering at a house. There also were complaints about vehicles parked in handicap stalls, as well as about screaming and fighting at the address.
Officers found several people at the house who didn’t live there. The homeowner was ticketed for holding a private indoor gathering with more than the number of people allowed under the public health order.
