The Regina Police Service says a 68-year-old woman was taken to hospital Monday morning after a collision between a semi and a pedestrian at Prince of Wales Drive and Victoria Avenue East.
Police say they got the call just before 11 a.m. Their investigation has determined the semi was heading north on Prince of Wales and was turning east onto Victoria. The pedestrian was crossing Victoria from the south side of the roadway when she was hit.
The intersection was closed until about 2:30 p.m.
Police didn’t have any information about the woman’s condition.
