A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a vehicle in Regina on Thursday.
Just before 9 a.m., police were called to 13th Avenue and Winnipeg Street after receiving a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.
When police arrived, they saw the injured man, but the vehicle that was involved in the collision was nowhere to be seen.
Witnesses said after the vehicle hit the pedestrian, the man driving the vehicle got out to assist the victim.
When the victim refused his help, the driver got back in his vehicle and drove away.
Police were able to identify the 37-year-old driver and issued him two tickets, including one for failing to stop for a pedestrian and the other for failing to report the accident to police.
