The Regina Police Service is investigating the death of a 35-month-old girl.
In a media release Monday, police said officers responded Wednesday at about 10:30 a.m., to a home in the 2300 block of Retallack Street for a call that a toddler had been seriously injured during a fall down a flight of stairs.
The child was taken to hospital by paramedics and then transported by air to Saskatoon. She died Sunday morning.
The Regina Children’s Justice Centre and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service also are investigating the girl’s death.
