Serious collision closes Highway 16 near Wynyard

A serious crash has closed a section of highway between Dafoe and Kandahar, Sask.

Wynyard RCMP is at the scene of the crash involving a semi and a passenger vehicle on Highway 16 two miles west of Kandahar, according to an RCMP media release.

Both lanes are blocked and there are detours in place.

A portion of Highway 16 will be blocked off for “the next several hours” as a collision deconstructionist investigates.
