A serious collision Friday afternoon killed one man, according to Wynyard RCMP.
Officers responded to Highway 16 just west of Kandahar around 12:45 p.m. and discovered a car and semi had collided.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was taken to hospital as a precaution.
In an update late Friday, RCMP said it appeared the eastbound semi and westbound car collided although the cause remains under investigation.
