The Saskatchewan Rush has new owners and so does a well known symbol of the Saskatoon-based lacrosse team.
The Rush monster truck was recently sold by former owner, Bruce Urban to an auto dealer in Winnipeg.
“Bruce Urban was the marketing genius that came up with a lot of clever ideas for the Rush. I’ve been bugging Bruce about getting some of his equipment and he finally relented,”
said Harley Unruh, partner with Auto Show Sales.
Unrush said the ad, which was removed late Thursday, was meant to bring exposure to the business.
However, he is not ruling out selling his new acquisitions.
“We are an auto dealer, but primarily they were bought for marketing and display. We want to rewrap them, put some graphics on them. They are a great attention getter.”
