ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Canadian defensive tackle Eli Ankou has signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.
The Ottawa native broke into the NFL in 2017 when he joined the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA.
Ankou also has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons.
Ankou has 31 career tackles and 1.5 sacks in 27 career games. He played in seven games with the Cowboys in 2020.
The 27-year-old Ankou was a third-round CFL pick by the Ottawa Redblacks in 2017.
