One man is in hospital with serious injuries after a fight in a Regina backyard.
Regina police say officers responded Saturday at about 5:25 p.m., to the area of the 2300 block of Lindsay Street after getting a report about a weapons offence.
According to police, a group of males were working in the backyard of a house when another group of three males walked by in the alley. Words were exchanged and a fight ensued.
One of the men in the alley produced a knife, and two guns also were seen.
A man who was in the backyard was stabbed and the three men who were in the alley ran off.
Police subsequently tracked them down in a house in the 100 block of College Avenue East. A 19-year-old, a 23-year-old and a 28-year-old were arrested and face a number of charges.
