A 33-year-old Regina man has been identified as the victim in Regina’s eighth murder of 2021.
Jason Lee Bird was found injured in the 800 block of Princess Street on Thursday just after 5 a.m.
Police officers gave Bird first aid before paramedics arrived. The injured man was taken to hospital, where he later died.
After investigating, the Regina Police Service and Saskatchewan Coroners Service confirmed Friday that Bird had been murdered.
Police didn’t provide any details about the nature of Bird’s injuries.
