Battleford RCMP is looking for the public’s help to learn more about an alleged abduction in North Battleford.
Early Sunday morning, a 28-year-old man said he was assaulted and “forcibly removed” from a home on the 700 block of 110th Street by several people, according to a police media release.
The man was a guest in the house at the time.
The group of people took the 28 year old to a rural area south of Battleford where he was beaten again and abandoned.
He was able to reach a nearby home and call police. An ambulance took him to a nearby hospital for treatment for injuries that included cuts to his arm and back. He is expected to make a full recovery.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
