Was it ever great to be back at Mosaic Stadium!
It was great to watch the Green and White. It was great that young Kaden led off our post-game show — although, judging by his voice now, I don’t know if Kaden is all that young anymore. He’s definitely found a new octave in the last two years.
It was great to hear fans complain about play-calling and officiating and take a dig or two at the opponent.
As much as people said the result wouldn’t matter, they were just happy to have football back. Nope! Fans were back and the opinions were too!
I left the post-game show with Darrell Davis and Belton Johnson with a smile on my face as we kept saying over and over again in commercial breaks how fun it was to be back, enjoying the game we love, with fans who are as passionate about the game as we are.
Let’s do it all again Saturday, shall we? Hopefully, the Riders run the ball a lot more in the second half.
