A 34-year-old Regina man has been charged with impersonating a police officer.
In a media release Monday, the Regina Police Service said investigators identified several instances since May in which the man claimed to be a member of the service. The investigation led to his arrest Saturday.
A police spokesperson wouldn’t say what the instances entailed, noting details would come out in court.
The man was charged with one count of impersonating a peace officer. He made his first court appearance Monday.
