Yesterday, Tahera’s mother, father, aunt and four sisters, made it on a flight to Turkey as they fled Kabul, desperate to escape the Taliban. Tahera joins John to discuss what is happening in Afghanistan right now and what the next step will be for her family to get to safety.

11:00 – KISS has announced they have dropped David Lee Roth for the U.S. leg of their farewell tour, because the band feels he’s past his prime. The Van Halen front-man opened for Gene Simmons and his bandmates on the February and March, 2020 North American dates on the End Of The Road trek, but the bassist has confirmed he won’t be back when the tour resumes Wednesday in Massachusetts. 12:00 – BHP has approved the $7.5 billion investment in the Jansen Stage 1 potash project in Saskatchewan.
