The Hospitals of Regina Foundation has unveiled its new fall home lottery featuring a $1.2 million grand prize showhome located in The Creeks.
The house is over 3,300 square feet and features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a soaring 18-foot ceiling in the great room for natural light, a spa-inspired ensuite, and a home office. An entertainment area and bar are also featured in the space.
There will also be $30,000 cash for the lucky winner and they will receive the home fully furnished and professionally decorated and landscaped.
Other prizes include new cars, money, as well as a lakefront cottage at Pasqua Lake.
“Nothing we do happens without the community, this foundation has raised over $210 million over its lifetime for these hospitals,” said Dino Sophocleous, president and CEO of the foundation. “Everything that we do comes back to the community. It’s a great, supportive community and we’re super thankful and grateful for that.”
This lotteries proceeds will go towards supporting and building exceptional pediatric programs in Regina and southern Saskatchewan.
“It’s super important that we keep the children here as close to home as possible,” Sophocleous said. He adds that a new pediatric oncology outpatient unit is in the works. The price tag on the project is more than $1.1 million.
“It’s very important that we do this for our children.”
The final deadline to buy a ticket is at midnight on Nov. 19 and the final prize draw will take place Dec. 1.
Each ticket purchased before Sept. 3 is eligible for all 349 prizes.
