Regina police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a hit-and-run involving a cyclist and a truck.
Police said the collision happened Wednesday just after 9:15 p.m., in the area of First Avenue and Winnipeg Street. After finding a male teenager who was injured, officers called paramedics.
The victim said he was riding his bicycle northbound on Winnipeg Street when he was knocked off his bike by an older-model truck that turned east onto First Avenue. The truck kept driving, dragging the bike underneath it.
The bike was later found in the 200 block of First Avenue East.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
