Thirteen COVID-19 cases were reported over the weekend at Regina schools.
In a media release Tuesday, Regina Public Schools said it had been told by the Saskatchewan Health Authority of two cases at each of George Lee School, MacNeill School and Sheldon-Williams Collegiate, and one at each of Plainsview School, Campbell Collegiate, Rosemont Community School, Ecole Elsie Mironuck School and Ruth Pawson School.
The Regina Catholic School Division announced a case had been detected at each of St. Bernadette School and St. Theresa School.
The cases were reported between Saturday and Monday. The Ministry of Health reported 54 new cases in Regina over the same time period — part of 1,137 cases across the province.
Close contacts at the schools have been informed by the SHA. Any future close contacts that are identified at the schools will be contacted directly by Public Health.
Anyone who develops COVID symptoms should stay home and call HealthLine 811.
