A 31-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly being caught with a stolen truck.
On Thursday around 10:30 p.m., Regina police found a Ford F350 that they had been looking for in the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue in the Coronation Park neighbourhood.
Police attempted to arrest the driver, who resisted and allegedly was combative towards the officers.
One of the responding officers chose to discharge his Taser to assist in making the arrest.
The suspect sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Upon searching the truck, police found more stolen property.
The man is expected to make his first court appearance on Friday on charges of possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000 and under $5,000, as well as being charged with resisting arrest.
