The Saskatchewan Health Authority says there is a suspected outbreak of COVID-19 at Parkside Extendicare in Regina.
It is located in the nursing home’s south wing and visitation has been restricted, the SHA says.
An email from the health authority says Extendicare is testing staff and residents and if an outbreak is declared, it will be listed on the government’s website.
The SHA said more information is to be shared with families when it becomes available.
Parkside Extendicare is where the province saw its worst outbreak in a nursing home, where nearly every resident fell ill and 39 died.
