A Regina senior has been arrested after allegedly causing a major ruckus at an east-side business.
In a news release, police said that a 74-year-old man walked into a store on Dewdney Ave. East, close to Ring Road, early Saturday morning.
They were called to the scene at about 2:47 a.m.
Officers said that the suspect walked into the business and started destroying stuff. Then, he chased employees with a knife.
The staff members were able to escape and hold the door shut until police showed up to make the arrest.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
The man is facing three charges of assault with a weapon, as well as one charge each of mischief and possession of a weapon.
