The Regina Catholic School Division says cases of COVID-19 have been detected at four of its schools and on one of the buses that serves a Catholic school and a public school.
In letters to parents, the division said positive cases were reported in classrooms at Michael A. Riffel Catholic High School, Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic High School, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School, St. Joan of Arc School, Ecole St. Elizabeth School, and on the bus that carries students to Ecole St. Mary and Ecole Elsie Mironuck Community School.
The letters say students who aren’t fully vaccinated should self-isolate for 14 days, although students who haven’t been fully vaccinated but who aren’t showing symptoms can leave isolation to attend class. However, they aren’t allowed to participate in any extracurricular activities and/or outings.
All close contacts are urged to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days from their last exposure whether they’re fully vaccinated or not.
Regina Public Schools reported cases at three of its schools, with two cases at Walker School and one each at Mironuck and Glen Elm Community School.
