12:00 – Saskatoon author Renée Kohlman’s second cookbook, ‘Vegetables: A Love Story’ is set for publication this month, and the book has a twist with the addition of the voice of her partner, vegetable farmer Dixon Simpkins. She says Simpkins brought her a bundle of asparagus on their fist date, which was when she knew that her next book would be about both vegetables and love. Kohlman’s new book offers 92 recipes that she hopes makes her readers look at vegetables in a new light, and Kohlman joins Gormley to tell us more about the project.
