There were 502 new cases announced Saturday, as well as five more deaths.
Three deaths were reported in the northwest part of the province, one in Regina and one in the central-east.
To date, 746 Saskatchewan residents have died due to COVID, including 143 since Sept. 1.
Hospitalizations due to COVID fell to 332, with 78 people in intensive care.
A look at the numbers
The new cases reported Friday were in the Saskatoon zone (124), northwest (63), Regina (81), central-east (38), southeast (47), north-central (29), southwest (27), far northwest (22), far northeast (22), northeast (14), south-central (nine), central-west (seven) and far north-central (one) zones.
The hometowns of 19 cases are pending.
More than one in five, or 21 per cent, of new cases were fully vaccinated people 12 and older.
Of the 332 people in hospital, 253 were not fully vaccinated.
The total number of cases in Saskatchewan since the pandemic started stands at 71,526. There also have been 65,982 recoveries.
The active caseload rose by 106 to 4,798.
There are 254 people in hospital receiving inpatient care.
There were 5,681 COVID shots given, including 2,946 first doses and 2,717 second shots.
So far in Saskatchewan, 1.59 million doses have been administered and 751,905 people have received two doses.
