Regina police are searching for a man who allegedly forced his way into a home in the Normandy Heights neighbourhood and assaulted the person inside.
According to a news release, the man showed up to the woman’s house in the 3600 block of Grassick Avenue Friday morning, knocked on the door and asked her to call 911 for his grandmother.
The woman “suspected something was not right so she attempted to close the door on the male who then forced his way into the residence and assaulted her.”
Police received two other calls around the same time.
The first caller told police that a man knocked on the door and asked her to call his grandmother for him and whether she was home alone. She shut the door and the man left, police said.
The second caller told police she was in the garage when a man walked in and approached her. Police said she started yelling and he left.
