A 21-year-old man is facing a heap of charges after an incident in Harbour Landing over the weekend.
On Sunday just after 7 p.m., police responded to a multi-vehicle collision in the 3900 block of James Hill Road.
Initial investigation showed the man’s vehicle was travelling north on the road when it got wedged between another northbound vehicle and a southbound vehicle.
Police say the suspect then struck a parked vehicle at a high rate of speed — all while someone was holding onto the hood of his vehicle.
That collision sent the person on the hood flying from the vehicle; that person received relatively minor injuries.
One of the other drivers also sustained minor injuries.
The suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, exceeding blood-alcohol level of 80 milligrams and operating a vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public.
The suspect is to make his first appearance on Regina Provincial Court on Nov. 3.
