Three people are facing charges after multiple people were bear-sprayed and a woman was confined to a chair at a Regina business on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to a report of an incident involving bear spray in the 700 block of Albert Street shortly before 10:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found several people who appeared to be suffering from the effects of bear spray – however, none required medical attention.
Officers then found a victim who was in distress in a second-floor room.
She alleged that two women and a man confined her to a chair, threatened her with a gun and a bladed weapon and then bear-sprayed her before leaving the business.
Officers found and arrested the three suspects not long after they left the area.
The suspects made their first court appearances on Monday.
