The Regina Police Service is investigating the city’s 10th murder of the year.
In a news release issued Wednesday evening, police said a recent death investigation was determined to be a murder.
Officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Angus Street in North Central on Monday shortly before 2 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the body of a man. Police then secured the scene and requested a coroner as well as additional police resources to respond to the area.
The victim was 29 year-old Kade Luke Neapetung of Regina. His family has been notified of his death.
The news release had no information regarding a potential suspect, or any other details involving what happened.
This investigation is still in the early stages according to police. They encouraged anyone who may have information that could assist them to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
