More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
Two Swift Current schools were placed in “hold and secure” mode Thursday after a report of threats to Swift Current Comprehensive High School.
According to the RCMP, officers responded at about 8:40 a.m., to calls about the threats. Swift Current Comprehensive and nearby O.M. Irwin School went into “hold and secure” as police officers descended on the area.
The Mounties said a male was found at a different location and taken into custody, but charges haven’t been laid as yet.
The RCMP investigation is continuing.
