A two-vehicle crash in the southeast area of the city early Saturday resulted in impaired driving charges — against both drivers.
Regina police say the collision occurred at Chuka Boulevard and Arcola Avenue at about 3:25 a.m., when a westbound pickup truck and an eastbound car collided.
A 19-year-old man from Balgonie was hurt and taken to hospital for treatment.
After investigating, police charged the 19-year-old with impaired operation of a conveyance by alcohol, drug or a combination of both.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 50-year-old man, was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance by alcohol, drug or a combination of both and exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol within two hours of operation of a conveyance.
Both men are to appear in court later this month.
