The Saskatchewan Party will be in Saskatoon on Saturday for it’s party convention at TCU Place.
It involves MLAs, cabinet ministers, Premier Scott Moe and registered party members.
Everyone attending must show proof of COVID vaccination or a negative test.
Moe is expected to give a speech to party faithful at 11 a.m. followed by leadership and policy reviews.
The convention is scheduled to last most of the day Saturday.
At least two rallies are planned outside of the convention. First from the Concerned Citizens for COVID Action group calling on the province to do more to address the pandemic.
In a media release, the group asks for gathering restrictions, expanding proof of vaccination policies and targeting areas with low vaccination rates.
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour is planning a rally as well. It’s calling on action and more accountability from the SaskParty government.
